I had a great time this weekend with some family sessions. Everyone was very glad the weather was not too hot and not too cold. These are going to be perfect for family Christmas cards!

So we had a fun time with little c. She was so sweet but did NOT want me to rearrange her little hands. Oh well, maybe next time little c.

Just wanted to share some fun shots from our Halloween. I always enjoy capturing the kids in their outfits!!

On November 7th, 2009, Santa had some time to visit with our family. I asked if he minded to share his time with some other families. He always enjoys spending time visiting. I’ll be doing some fun sessions this month of recent or not so recent brides taking portraits in the studio and outside in unique and fun ways. Normally on the wedding day, brides are concerned that the dress will get dirty. So some of the more artistic portraits (say at a waterfall) are not possible that day. However, don’t clean the dress and seal it so fast! Make sure to remember the day after (or week after, or month after or year after) portraits. It makes for a great memory of the love shared on the day and beautiful portraits to remember! The portraits can be fun with a spouse or alone. Some brides even combine the after the wedding dress session with a boudior session. Husbands just LOVE these for valentine’s day! Here’s a few and more to come!

Really enjoyed meeting little L. He was a little cutie and was very hungry! He spend most of the time eating but we were able to get him to take a few portraits. More to come.

So, I have so share a funny thing that happened to me the other day. While I was at church chatting with a friend, she tells me that I have to see her all time favorite picture of her little boy. She wanted to show it to me just for ideas and such. She tells me about the picture and says that the picture was taken at County Line UMC Preschool. I laugh and ask her when the picture was taken. She tells me it was taken in 2004…So funny…I was the photographer! I didn’t even know her then! It was such a blessing to know that my photography is loved and cherished!

So, here’s my latest project…I so enjoyed doing this one. I am a part of a cool community! This is the newest ad for Vintage 242 Church. It is a new church plant from Riverstone and it is located in the Cedarcrest area (Seven Hills/Bentwater area). We had a blast creating this one and all the “models” are actually people from the church. How fun! Come and visit and maybe make this your new church home.
